CHARACTER INTRODUCTION

Sanvya

The Sunshine With Stormy Skies

An extrovert with a heart full of emotions. Sanvya radiates joy, makes people laugh, and easily becomes the soul of any group. But beneath her bright presence lies a deeply sensitive girl who cries for everything — joy, sorrow, anger, anxiety — it all leaks out as tears. Her home life is empty of comfort; she raises herself emotionally. She finds her strength through her friendships and her relentless ability to keep smiling through it all. Despite her playful nature, she's drawn to people who hold back — those who don’t speak much, who carry silence like armor. And without even realizing it, she's pulled toward the boy from the school next door, not because he stands out… but because he doesn’t.

Prajwal

The Quiet Storm
A reserved, introverted guy who prefers silence over small talk. Prajwal doesn't let people in — not after being betrayed in his first relationship. He comes off cold, even rude, but the truth is he's afraid of being hurt again. He loves his mother and little sister fiercely and hides a warm, empathetic side behind high emotional walls. Though he’s uninterested in people, Sanvya’s expressive nature starts to pull at something he thought he buried — the need to connect again.

Sara

The Chaos in Comfort
Sanvya’s best friend and emotional twin in a very different outfit. Sara is loud, unpredictable, and carries a chaotic kind of love. She met Sanvya when both needed emotional grounding — and since then, they’ve been inseparable. She’s protective of Sanvya, and her intuition about people is strong (and sometimes too strong). Sara is the first to raise her eyebrow at Prajwal, the first to roast Dev, and the one who’ll fight the world to make sure Sanvya doesn’t cry alone.

Dev

The Fighter Turned Friend
Dev met Sanvya online — and it wasn’t a pretty start. They clashed, argued, blocked and unblocked each other more times than either will admit. But somewhere in the middle of all that chaos, they found something solid: trust. He’s not the emotional, heart-on-sleeve type. He doesn’t sugarcoat things or pretend to be someone he’s not. But when he’s loyal, he stays.

He’s transferring to Jacob’s Public School this year — not for Sanvya, not for anyone else, but for himself. A new place, a fresh start, and maybe some clarity on his own life. His connection with Sanvya is solid — a friendship built on realness and mutual respect. No strings, no expectations. Just two people who’ve earned each other’s trust and know they’ve got each other’s backs.

The Girls’ Group

The Unlikely Sisterhood

When Sanvya joins Peter’s Public School, she quickly finds herself surrounded by a group of girls who, in their own way, shape her high school experience. While they couldn’t be more different in personality, they share a bond rooted in understanding, support, and loyalty.

  1. MayaThe Observer, The Mother

Maya is the quiet backbone of the group — always watching, always understanding. She doesn’t need to speak loudly to make her presence felt. As the mother of the group, she’s the one who instinctively looks out for everyone, offering advice, comfort, and a shoulder to lean on without ever forcing herself into the spotlight. Maya’s calm demeanor and insightful nature make her the first one to notice when something’s off with her friends, even if they don’t say a word.

  1. ReineThe Free Spirit, The Model

Reine is the embodiment of spontaneity and beauty. With her magnetic personality and effortlessly chic style, she’s the free spirit who turns heads wherever she goes. She's always up for an adventure, whether it's impulsively signing up for a last-minute event or dragging the group to a spontaneous photo shoot session. Her energy is contagious — she brings an almost infectious joy to everything she does, making even the dullest days feel full of life and possibility.

  1. ZaraThe Yapper, The Energizer

Zara is the yapper of the group — never quiet, always with something to say. Whether it’s a funny story, an opinion on something random, or just her endless stream of thoughts, Zara is always keeping the conversation going. She’s the kind of person who fills the room with her presence, making even the most boring moments feel entertaining with her witty commentary and infectious enthusiasm.

  1. Sanvi The Gentle Soul

Sanvi is the one who seems to always be under the weather, whether it’s a cold, a headache, or just general exhaustion. She’s constantly battling some sort of ailment, and while her friends sometimes joke about it, it’s clear that it’s more than just bad luck. Despite her frequent illnesses, Sanvi has an inner strength that shows in her resilience. She’s never the type to complain too much, and though she often finds herself wrapped in blankets, sipping tea, or taking a nap in between classes, she still manages to be a steady, gentle presence in the group.

  1. AnayaThe Reader

Anaya is the reader of the group — always with a book in hand, lost in a world of stories and ideas. While her friends are busy with their day-to-day drama and school events, Anaya finds solace in the pages of a book, her escape from reality. She’s the quiet one who often sits in the corner, reading and observing, her nose buried in fiction, philosophy, or whatever else sparks her interest. Her passion for literature shapes her perspective on life, giving her a deep well of wisdom and insight, though she doesn’t always voice it.
